The President elected for 2008 is Dr Wafik Mustafa, Principal GP, Acton, London,

President Elect for 2009 is Dr Raja Coumine who will resumed his role after the AGM in 2008.

ALso, Dema Nasret will move automatically to take the role of Treasure when the New Present takes his office.

BAMA AGM was held on 28 October. New members joined the council.

Next AGM will be in Autumn 2008 possibly In November

In 199At the end of 1999, the term of offcie for this council wil end and there will be an election for a nes council for the following 4 years.

A proposal By Dr Maath Al-Douri for revising the duration for the President and the term of the Council to 2 years and 4 years respectively was approved and shall be submitted as a motion for the next AGM.

BAMA Council


BAMA is a  professional non-political organization for doctors, dentists and pharmacist in Britain and internationally.

Key Objectives:

  • To arrange social and scientific meetings for members of the Association.
     
  • To provide career advice and counselling for members.
  • To develop medical services & activities including teaching and research for the promotion of the interest of its members in medical sciences.
     
  • To promote understanding and establish ties with medical and health organisations in the Arab World.
  • To promote the Arab medical heritage, culture and ethics.
     
  • To exchange professional information, expertise and technologies with other medical organisations.
